Our guest speakers:

Maggie Folan is a Vice President on our employee benefits team at Assurance, focusing on group plans in the cannabis, construction, professional services, manufacturing and real estate industries. She serves as a dedicated benefit advisor to all her clients, helping to control healthcare costs while keeping employees engaged, healthy and productive. She also takes a hands-on, team-centric service approach, viewing herself as an extension of her clients’ HR departments. Maggie joined Assurance in 2009 as part of our admin team and quickly advanced her career in a variety of roles with our benefits department. “ Above all else, I want to provide clients with service that is above and beyond their expectations.” Maggie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in applied health sciences. She also holds her CEBS, CMS and GBA designations.

Adam Russell is a Vice President in the Employee Benefits practice at Assurance with a focus on the technology, cannabis, and construction industries. Adam’s main responsibility is to develop strategic benefit plans for clients. To do so, he collaborates with each client to gain an understanding of their overall goals, objectives, and growth plans. His process includes conducting contract analyses, compliance reviews and benchmarking as well as exploring alternative methods to control plan costs.
Before his career in insurance, Adam played professional baseball for 11 years. Adam played professional baseball for 11 years. He spent 4 years in the major leagues playing for the Chicago White Sox, San
Diego Padres and Tampa Bay Rays.
